Seniors! Walton Class of 2011 Graduation Orders Students will receive graduation order forms on October 15th in homeroom. Order will be taken for last names A-L on Monday, October 18th and last names M-Z on Tuesday, October 19th. In addition, parents may visit with the representatives and make orders on Monday, October 18th between 4:00-7:00pm outside the commons area. Graduation The Cobb County School District determines the date and time of the graduation. We will post this information as soon as it is received. Details about the ceremony and tickets will not be available until mid-March. We will post a complete packet of information at that time. Official Information from the yearbook staff Please read carefully all of the following information regarding senior pictures for this year’s yearbook. All formal, casual and baby pictures must be turned in the week of August 23, 2010, to be included in the yearbook following the procedures below: Tributes The forms, pictures, and checks are no longer accepted at Walton; therefore, any envelope postmarked after the due dates will not be accepted for any reason. Please downlaod the tribute packet below for all information. All prices, layouts, and deadlines for the senior ads are included. The deadlines are listed on page one of the packet. Senior Pictures Photos may be submitted either by the student or by the photographer. Please check with your photographer to see if he or she will submit the pictures directly to the yearbook staff. Studio 7 Images is our official school photographer. They are located in Roswell, GA. You may contact them at 770-685-7391;however, formal and casual pictures from other photographers will be accepted for the yearbook. Pictures not submitted directly to the yearbook staff by your photographer will be collected by the yearbook staff in homerooms the week of August 23, 2010. Pictures may be submitted either digitally or as a hardcopy. Please do not submit pictures to the yearbook staff before August 23. Envelopes for your pictures will be distributed in homeroom for you to submit your pictures. The school photographer will be at Walton sometime in September to take formal pictures. A sign up sheet with pricing information and times will be available in Ms. Manheim’s room, B211. *Students who do not submit a formal or baby picture will only appear in the casual section of the yearbook. NOTE: Pictures cannot be accepted through email. Baby Pictures No specific size or dimension is necessary. Baby pictures should be clearly identified. An address label with the student’s name and address should be placed on the back of the picture. These pictures will also be collected by the yearbook staff in homerooms the week of August 23. Junior/Senior Class Dues 2010-2011
August 10-September 30 Delayed Payment Fees: October 1 – November 30--$85.00 December 1 – January 29 --$90.00 February 1 – day of prom --$95.00
Class dues are paid once either junior or senior year. Class dues are used to cover homecoming expenses, class activities, prom and graduation. If class dues are paid junior year, it gives students the privilege to attend the prom their junior and senior years. Dues also cover senior activities such as homecoming, senior breakfast, senior week, prom, graduation expenses, and the class gift to the school.
